HELLO EVERYBODY.....hope you are having a great summer... It has been HOT here at Durhamtown but riders are still coming to ride... from all over North America. We have added some new Jeep trails across the river and UTVs have been enjoying them as well. I took a group of bikers over there this past weekend and we had a blast with no ruts!
NEW GP RACE TRACK OPEN
Lots or riders enjoying the high speed and low height jumps it is becoming the 2nd most popular track here at DP. We will be watering it daily on weekends as well. We have plans to construct a new Lawn Mower racing track in the next few weeks. We have a designer coming to lay it out and they want to start having some competition events here. We look forward to hosting these events…should be fun!
SINGLE TRACK
More trails are being cut we hope to have lots of new trails for the fall so come on out and enjoy!
JEEP PARK
We now have 3 sections of land with trails for all levels of riding! We just added approximately 15 miles of stock type trails for cruising in the fall when the leaves begin to turn and it gets cooler, most trails are along the river and creek bottoms and shaded.
NEW OBSTACLE JEEP PARK under construction!! Lindo and Wayne are hauling rock and boulders almost every day. We have cleared an area above the DAY PARKING LOT for this fun zone. It is a soil with lots of rocks and pebbles that will hold up to a lot of traffic with minimal mud and is also a great spectator area for all to enjoy the action. We will be bringing in a lot of cement pipes, large tires, poles, etc to use as well.
MX NEWS
Andrew took Tommy Maxey along with Kyler West out to Ponca Ok for a national race and now they are at Loretta Lynn''s!! We wish them the best of luck! Andrew will be starting his full time training program in a few weeks. He also has a few other riders joining the full time resident program here at DP.
HOME SCHOOLING AT DP Lauren will be our in house instructor for all the kids schooling here at DP. We are converting the back church room into a class room during the weekdays. All the kids will have organized classes and storage for all their books and supplies. The fee for this is $75 per week for use of classroom and instructor to oversee your rider’s education while training for MX.
HUNTING
Wow what a season coming up!! Lots of deer everywhere!! Looks like one of our best years yet in the making. We offer a 1 year unlimited guided hunt program for $800 per family. This is the best deal in the state of Georgia with over 60 hunting stands and food plots provided and now offering 2 in house guides to assist you. William has feeders and cameras out there now checking out the STOCK.... Never hunted before??? No worries….we’ll teach you everything you need to know!!
