Dragon Racing Fuels Freestone Race Report Presented by LTD Motorsports

Wortham, Texas – Heading into
Texas, #60 Killy Rusk was determined to redeem himself after a rough
first round in Hangtown. Killy qualified 31^st and new he
had his work cut out for him in the blazing Texas heat that we have
come to expect at Freestone.

As the gate dropped in moto 1, Killy
got caught up with a few other riders in the first turn and fell all
the way back to 38^th. Killy put his head down and rode his
Dragon Racing Fuels KTM to an impressive 13^th place when
the checkered fell. “I had nothing to lose and there was only one
thing to do… Pin it!” stated Killy after the first moto.

In moto 2, Killy had the confidence and
felt great. Coming out of the first corner, Killy was inside the top
20 and went to work. In lap 5, Killy was in 18^th when the
rider in front of him checked up causing Killy to do the same when he
was hit from behind and went down unable to finish the race. Killy
went (13) (34) giving him 19^th overall. Team Manager, Al
Albiker said; “Killy is a great outdoor rider… young and still
has allot to learn about racing pro. He is exactly what we are
looking for and what our team is all about… young riders that we
can work with and grow together as the team grows. I look for more
improvements of our Dragon Racing Fuels riders for the rest of the
series.”
