Dodge, Sycuan Casino, Hart and Huntington, Bel-Ray Racing Supercross Team Dallas Race Report

Round
7 of the AMA Monster Energy Supercross Series visited Cowboys Stadium
in Dallas on Saturday for the first East Coast stop of the season.
The Dodge/Sycuan Casino/Hart and Huntington /Bel-Ray Racing team
continued its hot streak of Main Event appearances with both active
riders – Josh Hansen and Kyle Partridge – charging hard to the
finish.

Josh
Hansen followed up his first top-five finish of the season in San
Diego with another fifth place finish in Dallas.  “The
Dodge/Sycuan Casino/Hart and Huntington/Bel-Ray Racing Kawasaki was
solid all night.  I had a tough starting spot at the gate but
made my way up to fifth.  I got by (Kevin) Windham on the last
lap and really think that I could have gotten past (Mike) Alessi. 
I was just having some trouble with some of the lappers that were
slowing the pace when I was trying to race up front.  It was a
bummer.  I think I rode pretty well.  The bike had speed. 
We made the best that we could.  I didn’t have the best
feeling on the bike but we rallied and got us a fifth-place finish,”
said Hansen.

Kyle
Partridge scored an impressive fifth place finish in Heat #2 to
advance directly to the Main event where he finished 13^th
overall for the night. “I ran fifth in the Heat race, but just
didn’t get the start that I needed in the Main,” said Partridge.
“I worked my way past a bunch of guys early in the Main.  I
think I rode well tonight.  We’ll work hard this week and get
ready for next weekend.”

After
seven rounds of Supercross action, Hansen sits in 10th place in the
overall standings, with Partridge in 16th and Tedesco in 18th.

The
next AMA Monster Energy Supercross Series race will be held this
Saturday, February 25th at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
