Division7/Star Racing/Yamaha - Unadilla

Press Release

New Berlin, NY - The Lucas Oils Pro MX National Series is working it’s self into the closing stages, and by visiting the historical Unadilla Valley Sports Center in New York this past weekend another set of accomplishments were at hand for Division 7/Star Racing/Yamaha. Fielding the top finishing Yamaha pilots, #41 Matt Lemoine, #43 Broc Tickle, #159 Darryn Durham, #164 Michael Hall, and #455 Lucas Moraes, the team felt content that some good would come of our effort.

Shining on this day would be Tickle, after some time off where he trained feverishly, the determined youngster was head strong and choose to tackle this race. In moto one, Tickle started off in common territory, sitting just inside the top fifteen. Very sufficiently, the #43 machine maintained the pace he needed throughout moto’s end and came away with a 9th. Another average start for Tickle in moto two had him running 11th for a few laps. As the race progressed, Tickle used his patented formula, by digging deep and putting down solid laps this helped him steadily moved forward. Tickle’s strong will paid off, because the ever evolving rider took 5th in the moto and a well deserved 5th overall on the day.

Next on the list was Lemoine, who once again put together a solid, and consistent day which boosted him real close to having a shot of acquiring the 10th position in overall points. Moto one for Lemoine began with an 11th place start, most of his time was spent shuffling around throughout the race without any good returns. Never the less, late in the 30 min. +2 laps, Lemoine was able capitalize on tiring riders and landed in 14th. A 9th place start in moto two would be a great help to Lemoine and his pursuit. In the opening five laps, the Texan bobbled back to 12th, but turned his outing positive with some great moves which brought him back to 10th and in the thick of several battles. As the moto drew to a close, Lemoine kept steady, not chancing throwing away any points and went on to finish 9th.

Seeing better days would be Durham, after a great ride in moto one that he started in 15th, and then proceeded on a mad dash that took him to a finish of 8th. Moto two started well, but an issue with his bike on lap one caused him to pull out of competition.

Crashing was the issue with our following rider; both moto’s Hall found the rather slick soil in the middle portion of the race. In doing so, Hall was forced to bow out and move on to future races. With that said, in his first visit to this facility he would go 32-33 for 35th overall.

Results:

Moto 1 Moto 2 = Overall Finish

Broc Tickle 9th 5th = 5th

Matt Lemoine 14th 9th = 9th

Darryn Durham 8th 38th = 14th

Michael Hall 32nd 33rd = 35th
