Press Release

Development of the FIM Motocross World Championships

FUNCHAL (PORTUGAL), 2 August 2010 –
With the arrival in 2011 of our new main sponsor Monster Energy, which will
be also the main sponsor of the FIM MX3 World Championship and the title
sponsor of the FIM Motocross Junior World Championship, and based on the
evolution of the various Motocross World Championships, Youthstream and its
President Mr. Giuseppe Luongo want to make the following announcement.

FIM MX3 WORLD
CHAMPIONSHIP

To relaunch this Championship we plan to bring it to an amateur level, it will
be called FIM MX3 - Amateur World Championship and it will be run with a
minimum of 12 events and a maximum of 15, these events to be mainly held in
Europe with between two and four overseas events.
As participants
will be entirely amateur, there will be no service contribution fee.
Youthstream will guarantee the FIM MX3 - Amateur World Champion a place in
the MX1 or MX2 World Championship (depending on his age) in a good team
with the financial support from Youthstream and its partners for the year after
his MX3 - Amateur victory.

FIM WOMEN’S WORLD
CHAMPIONSHIP

This FIM Women’s World Championship will consist of between eight and 10
events, two to three held together with MX1/MX2 events and six to eight
held with the MX3 - Amateur World Championship.

UEM EUROPEAN EMX2
CHAMPIONSHIP

The UEM European EMX2 will be made up of approximately seven events and
they will all be held with the MX1/MX2 events.

UEM EUROPEAN EMX 125
CHAMPIONSHIP

The UEM European EMX 125 Championship will be made up of approximately
seven events and they will all be held with MX1/MX2 events.

FIM VETERANS’ WORLD
CUP

This FIM Veterans’ World Cup will consist of approximately six events which
are to be held together with the MX1 / MX2 events (five in Europe and one
overseas).

Following the statements of Youthstream, FIM/CMS President Dr. Wolfgang Srb
added: “The new structure of the various FIM Motocross Championships with a
strong signal to the growing number of highly motivated privateers and
amateur riders as well as more and more female riders is a logical step in
the right direction and fully meets the demands of the markets. A much
broader basis of riders is also important for the manufacturers.

“The fact that there will be no more service fee for MX3 and for the
Women’s World Championship will support strongly the further growth of the
series,” ended Dr. Srb.
