Del West Powersports

Valencia, California - Del
West Engineering, Inc. announced today the creation of Del West
Powersports, a division dedicated to developing and selling
after-market, titanium OEM replacement valves and valvetrain components
to the powersports industry.

“There
was a need for valves that could last longer and perform better at a
reasonable price,” said Shannon Decker, manager of Del West
Powersports. “We now have the sales, service and support staff in place
to make this happen.”

Del
West titanium valves first ran in a NASCAR engine in 1977. The company
is now a dominant supplier of engine parts for racing cars globally. It
first supplied motorcycle valves to KTM in 2002. Today,
Del West Powersports titanium motorcycle valves run in professional
race team engines for Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Husqvarna,
Ducati and MV Augusta.
