Press Release

DNA Energy Drink/BTO Sports.com/BBMX SX Team Take St Louis by Storm!

St Louis, MO - As the AMA Supercross series trudges on across the country, two things have become abundantly clear for the DNA Energy Drink/BTO Sports.com/BBMX team. One is that diesel prices coming down is a good thing and two is that we need to get electric start on our bikes.

This week our beloved Kyle “I’m not Kenny dammit’ Keylon fell while just outside the top ten and, just like last week when Bryan Johnson struggled starting his bike, the same fate befell Kyle. There he was on the track just kicking and kicking and kicking…

Jason Thomas, number 45 in your program but 5’5 on the height chart, finally showed us what he could do with a stupendous ride in the main. As usual JT never stopped charging and when the checkers flew, he finished twelfth. Which is quite a bit better then the last few weeks for you that are scoring at home.

Finally, Kyle got his bike started but was a lap down and credited with an eighteenth place in the 250 main event. Kyle is still in the top twenty points and we think he’s having a good season on the smaller 250 bike despite being the height of two JT’s stacked together.

The other team riders, Shaun “Mr” Skinner and Bryan “Rick” Johnson both hurt themselves early on in the day.  Johnson banged his knee up in practice and attempted to ride the heat, but had to withdrawal for the night just 2 laps in.  Skinner had a bad get off in practice and banged his knee up, and then whacked his wrist on the 1st lap of the heat race.  Shaun struggled to hold onto the bike for the heat and LCQ & ended up 9th in the LCQ.  They are both non serious injuries and we hope to see them in Toronto this weekend.
