CycleTrader / Rock River / Yamaha Announces 2017 Team Roster

Vital MX - CycleTrader / Rock River / Yamaha has announced that their 2017 roster will consist of Tommy Hahn, Bradley Taft, and Lorenzo Locurcio. Scroll down to learn a little bit about each rider.

Tommy Hahn: 30 Years Old - 12 Years Pro

Tommy Hahn is signed with the CycleTrader / RockRiver / Yamaha team for another year in 2017, Hahn looks to build on his program from 2016. He’s stoked on the new young up and comers joining on this year, always willing to help with his many years of racing knowledge. With an injury sidelining him from the outdoors this year, Tommy will have all the time he needs this off season to get ready to go racing at 100% come Anaheim 1 2017. Another year on the YZ450F should help the veteran racer with his comfort level, as he will work closely alongside crew chief Scott Rabon and Enzo Suspension technicians to ensure a great setup entering next year as prepared as possible. Team Manager Christina Denney is very pleased to have Tommy back with the team in 2017.

Bradley Taft: 19 Years Old - Rookie

Bradley Taft is an up and coming Amateur that has been on the national racing level for many years now. Spending a lot of time out west in California over the past few years, staying at the Grindstone Compound, Bradley has moved on to find a new home with trainer Gareth Swanepoel, alongside talent of Cooper Webb, Aaron Plessinger, and Mitchell Harrison. Bradley has spent the past couple years riding for the Horton Racing Yamaha Amateur Program, which has been associated with RockRiver for many years. With a solid upbringing through the ranks we expect big things from Bradley in the 250 SX West Region and the 250 MX outdoors come summer. Taft will now head straight to Unadilla after such a successful week at Loretta’s, his long hours of preparation show him more ready than ever

Lorenzo Locurcio: 19 Years Old - Rookie

Lorenzo has been racing throughout the USA for many years now, developing as an amateur Motocross racer while training at the coveted Millsaps Training Facility in Cairo, GA. His mother and sister live with him for support, while his father travels back and forth to Venezuela to work to help Lorenzo achieve his dream that is now coming to fruition. Lorenzo will compete in his final Amateur race at the 2016 Monster Energy Cup racing the Amateur All-Star class, from there he will continue his off season training at MTF preparing for the 2017 250 SX East Series and the 250 MX Class come outdoor time.

Team Owner Mike Duclos: “ We are excited to have Locurcio and Taft signed for 2017, Rock River prides itself on bringing the best of the best from the Amateur ranks into the Pros. These two will not disappoint!!!”
