Spokane, Wash. (February 19, 2009) – MotoConcepts Racing (MCRMX) has lost 450 team rider Cole Siebler until the start of the Outdoor Motocross season with a knee injury. Siebler broke his knee cap during practice at Anaheim 3 and had successful knee surgery this past Monday to repair the damage.
“The surgery went well and I should be fine by the time the outdoor season starts,” stated Siebler. “I was having my best year in Supercross before the accident so it’s been a frustrating setback.”
With the injury Siebler was unable to participate at Anaheim 3 and this past weekend in San Diego but still sits in 19th place overall. Teammate Ben Coisy is currently in 15th overall in the 450 class.
Posting another top 10 effort, Jeff Alessi finished 9th in Saturday night’s main event. Alessi, currently 9th overall in the 250 West class, will move up to the 450 class during the East Coast swing.
