Cobra Racers Sweep The Entire 50cc Class Field At Las Vegas World Mini Grand Prix Championship

Cobra’s Sean Cantrell is the eight-year-old “Man” of the 50cc class, winning the PW 7-8 Stock and Modified classes

HILLSDALE, Mich., (April 22, 2008) – The industry-leading list of 50cc class championships continues to grow for Cobra Motorcycles as this past weekend the little yellow Cobras again swept every 50cc title up for grabs at the 2008 Las Vegas World Mini Grand Prix Championships.

“Five classes, five titles,” said Cobra President Sean Hilbert. “Doesn’t get much better than that.”

Cobra’s weekend in the 50cc class was actually thisclose to being perfect. Sans a 3rd place podium finish going to another brand in the 6-9 Super Pee Wee class (after a mistake by Cobra rider in the first of two motos), Cobra swept every podium spot in every class, including the 7-8 PW Modified, 7-8 PW Stock, Through 6 PW Modified and Through 6 PW Stock.

“We had four different winners on Cobras, which means a lot of different kids have been winning, which is cool,” added Eddie Bard, National Sales Manager for Cobra. “And Tanner Stack set the stage all weekend long with the fastest lap times in his heats, forcing Sean Cantrell and Michael Moisman to step up their games – which they did.”

Cobra class winners and fellow podium placers at the 2008 Las Vegas World Mini Grand Prix Championships include:
