California’s Ryan Kearns heads to France to compete in the French Supermoto Championship for Luc1 Honda Team

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (May 31, 2011) – Pro supermoto youngster, Ryan Kearns,
of Stockton, California will make his first voyage to Europe as a
result of a recent signing to the Luc1 Honda Team to compete in the 2011
French Supermoto Championship. He caught the eye of team owner Ludovic Lucquin recently, with Kearns’ recent win in the SupermotoUSA pro class at the West Coast MotoJam sealing the deal.

This
is a dream come true for any aspiring motorcycle racer to get a full
pro ride, and certainly is for 16 year-old Kearns. In addition to the
2011 French Supermoto Championship, the new Luc1 Honda rider will also
compete in select rounds of the FIM World Supermoto Championship and the
25th Annual Mettet Superbikers in Belgium.

A
“French Connection” in supermoto allowed Kearns’ ride to come together.
It includes recognition of American athlete’s capabilities by Lucquin
and
Philippe Danh,
participation in American races by French stars and Luc1 riders Sylvian
Bidart, David Baffeleuf, and Adrien Chareyre, along with American
motocross and supermoto champion Micky Dymond, the California-based CHM
Honda supermoto team and SuperMotoOnline.com’s Dennis Anderson.
