The piece is constructed out of 6061 Billet Aluminum and designed to replace the flimsy plastic unit currently found on the TPi bikes from the factory. The American Made guard provides much needed protection to your exposed throttle position sensor which acts as the brains of your bike. A damaged sensor could cost hundreds to replace and leave you stranded for hours on end.
