Press Release

Brazilian Grand Prix to follow Brasilia Time Zone

FUNCHAL (PORTUGAL), 13 August 2010 –
The time schedule for next weekend’s Grand Prix of Brazil in Campo Grande
has been modified to match the time zone of Brazil’s capital Brasilia (GMT
-3), which is one hour later than the Campo Grande time zone (GMT -4).
Therefore the whole timetable will be approximately one hour ahead of the
usual schedule, anticipating Campo Grande’s sunset and allowing better
exploitation of day light.

With the sun
setting very early in Campo Grande –around 16.30 hours- and with 97% of
Brazil’s population being used to the Brasilia time zone, the change to the
timetable will ensure a smoother running of this 13th Grand Prix of the FIM
Motocross World Championship and will allow a better exploitation of day
light.

With
this being the only Grand Prix of Brazil in 2010, the Globo Group will
broadcast live the entire event adding to the usual live TV coverage which
will be communicated on the Friday prior to the Grand Prix.

The timetable of the GP of Brazil will be the following:

Saturday: MX2 Free Practice 9:00; MX1 Free Practice 9:45; MX2
Pre-Qualifying Practice 12:00; MX1 Pre-Qualifying Practice 12:50; MX2
Qualifying Race 14:35; MX1 Qualifying Race 15:25;

Sunday: MX2 Warm up 8:00; MX1 Warm up 8:30; MX2 Grand Prix Race 1 11:10;
MX1 Grand Prix Race 1 12:10; MX2 Grand Prix Race 2 14:03; MX1 Grand Prix
