PHOENIX (January 10, 2009) – Team San Manuel Yamaha’s James Stewart, who is the two-time defending race winner at Chase Field, posted the fastest lap time today at Monster Energy® AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, with a 52:557. Rockstar/Makita Suzuki’s Ryan Dungey earned the fastest Western Regional AMA Supercross Lites lap time at a 53:394 in the first practice.
