Bel-Ray Racing-Weekend Racing Preview– March 9, 2012

The
“World Center of Speed,” Daytona International Motor Speedway will host
Round 10 of the 2012 Monster Energy Supercross series this Saturday
night. The course is
constructed on the infield of this famous racetrack and has typically
produced some of the most exciting racing each year. 

Team
Rockstar Energy Racing Suzuki's Blake Wharton comes into Daytona
following his first podium finish of the 2012 season. A 3rd place finish
last week in St. Louis
marks his best result of the year thus far. Wharton is always a threat
for a win, which is something he hopes to accomplish this week. Teammate
Hunter Hewitt has been making steady progress each week and his 12^th place finish last weekend places
him in 8^th place in the season’s points standings. Hewitt is looking for his breakout ride this weekend as the series continues.

As
the lone Dodge/Hart & Huntington/Sycuan Casino/Bel-Ray Racing team
member, Josh Hansen comes to Daytona, looking to improve on his last
week's 20^th place
finish. Daytona has been good to Hansen in the past, as he was the
winner of the Lites class main event in 2005, which is something he is
plans to repeat this week in the Supercross class.
