Walk Through Ricky Carmichael’s Final Full Season of Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP/Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series

AURORA, Ill. (November 14, 2006) – The 2006 installment of the fabled Bar-to-Bar collection is now available for fans to take an inside look at the sport’s most competitive season ever.

The two-disc set, with more than 2.5 hours of footage, compiles the highlights from an insider’s perspective, documenting eventual Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP champion James Stewart’s win at the season’s opening race in Toronto to Ricky Carmichael’s dramatic fifth Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series championship.

Bar-to-Bar 2006 captures Mike LaRocco’s retirement announcement at the RCA Dome, putting an end to one of the sport’s greatest careers that started back in 1988. For the first time in history, Bar-to-Bar 2006 includes an interactive trivia game that tests fans’ knowledge on the sport’s rich history.

“This year’s Bar-to-Bar 2006 two-disc set is an in-depth look back at the world’s most exciting supercross season to date,” said Todd Jendro, senior director of supercross, Live Nation Motor Sports. Bar-to-Bar 2006 is very special because it not only offers incredible racing action, it documents Ricky Carmichael’s last full season of professional racing.”
