BEL-RAY SPONSORED RACERS KEN ROCZEN AND JASON ANDERSON SECURE PODIUM FINISHES AT AMA SUPERCROSS INDIANAPOLIS

FARMINGDALE, N.J. (April 12, 2016) – Bel-Ray supported racers, Ken Roczen of RCH Soaring Eagle/Jimmy Johns/Suzuki Factory Racing and Jason Anderson of Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing secured second and third place overall at the13th round of the AMA Supercross season in Indianapolis, Ind.

Ken Roczen of RCH Soaring Eagle/Jimmy Johns/Suzuki Factory Racing showed impressive maneuvers throughout the event to claim second in 450SX.  Roczen had a challenging start out of the gate, positioning himself in sixth place on the first lap. By mid-way, Roczen managed to fly by competitors to claim the runner-up position, solidifying his standing as overall second in points for the season.

“It was fun,” said Roczen. “It was an amazing ride the whole way. I’m pretty bummed I messed up on that dragon’s back but we’ve been riding really good and strong and that’s what counts.”

Fellow Bel-Ray sponsored rider Jason Anderson of Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing also took to the podium, placing third in 450SX. Anderson started the heat off strong by completing an inside pass to maneuver himself into the lead during the second lap of the race. In the main, Anderson started off in 10th place and quickly navigated up the ranks to finish third. Anderson also remains third overall in rider point standings.

“Indy was good to me,” said Anderson. “The track was very rutted, but I still felt like I was riding well and I ended up qualifying fourth. It was chaos for a little bit, but I managed and came out with a third.”
