Amp'd Mobile Supercross Changes Channels on XM Satellite Radio

XM Sports Nation (XM Channel 144) is the new home of Amp’d Mobile Supercross

AURORA, Ill. (January 5, 2007) – Live Nation announced today that Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP/Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series coverage on XM Satellite Radio will take place on XM Sports Nation (XM Channel 144) instead of the previously announced XM 143.  Since Amp’d Mobile Supercross’ original partnership announcement with XM Satellite Radio, XM Sports Nation has changed channels – moving from XM 143 to XM 144 – a more comprehensive race-oriented channel.

Amp’d Mobile Supercross will extend its relationship with XM Satellite Radio and will broadcast each of the 17 races on the new sports talk radio channel XM Sports Nation (XM Channel 144).  Also new this season, XM Sports Nation (XM Channel 144), will broadcast news from each race on their Thursday Sports Nation This Morning, hosted by TJ Rives, featuring riders and key industry personnel.

Amp’d Mobile Supercross and XM Radio enter into the fifth year of their relationship. This year XM Sports Nation (XM Channel 144) has dedicated an extra hour of coverage to each race, broadcasting live each Saturday during the season from 8:00-11:00 p.m. PST.

The format of the XM Radio show dedicates the complete three-hour program of the widely popular Supercross LIVE! webcast – on www.SupercrossOnLine.com – every Saturday night during the season. Supercross LIVE! announcers Jim Holley and Jason Weigandt will call the race live from the press box, bringing all the racing action into hundreds of thousands of home and to millions of listeners nationwide.

Last year’s dramatic championship went down to the final race of the seas
