Akrapovič expands 2012 off-road product line-up

Akrapovič
has released two new lines to further increase its wide range of
off-road silencers and full exhaust systems – and both are worldwide
firsts for the Slovenian manufacturer by being the first to introduce
systems for Yamaha’s 2012 WR 450 F, and Honda’s 2012 CRF250.




1) 2012 Yamaha WR 450 F Akrapovič Racing Line




This is a high-quality full exhaust system featuring:


























• conical stainless steel tubes for the header and link pipes
• titanium muffler
• patented chamber on the link pipe gives improved throttle response at lower rpm and an increase in top end power
• carbon fibre muffler clamp
• spark arrestor



The system’s unique design means weight reduction against the stock
system and performance increase. Repair kits are available for all
models. The Racing line is not EC-type approved but is FIM noise
restriction compliant.

2) 2012 Honda CRF250 Akrapovič Evolution Line



The flagship of the Akrapovič off-road exhaust system range; a
competition exhaust as used and tested by top factory motocross teams
worldwide and features:





















• durable and lightweight titanium construction throughout
• patented
additional performance chamber for improved and unrivalled throttle
response at lower rpm and an increase in top end power
• noise damper (for EU and non-US markets)
• carbon fibre end cap



The system’s unique design means weight reduction against the stock
system of 0.8kg, while a power increase of 1.8HP was measured at 5250rpm
and 3HP at 12,500rpm underlines the fact Akrapovič Evolution is the
finest off-road exhaust system available.
