Rockstar Energy Racing’s Jason Anderson clinched the 250 West championship in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday, taking sixth in the final Monster Energy AMA Supercross event of the season. Anderson then went on to podium in the East/West Shootout, finishing third on his No. 17 KTM 250 SX-F.
Anderson did it all while wearing an Airoh Aviator 2.1 helmet, the brand distributed throughout the U.S. by LeoVince USA Specialized Products Distribution.
In the 250 West race, Anderson got a bad start and was only ninth at the end of lap one. He worked his way up to sixth by lap six and stayed there for the remainder of the race. Anderson had come into the round with an eight-point lead, and his finish in Vegas was enough to claim the 250 West title.
In the East/West Shootout, Anderson quickly secured the third spot. Except for a brief time in fourth place, Anderson maintained third until the checkered flag, closing out his 2014 Supercross season with a podium finish.
LeoVince USA Specialized Products Distribution introduced Airoh Helmets to the U.S. in 2013, including the Aviator 2.1 helmet worn by the Rockstar Energy Racing team.
