Acerbis' Travis Pastrana wins two gold medals at X Games 16

Travis
Pastrana, aboard his Suzuki RM 250 outfitted with Acerbis replica plastics and
Vented Uniko handguards, won his seventh gold medal in Moto X Freestyle and
another gold in Speed and Style at X Games 16 held in Los Angeles.

Pastrana,
who had not competed in the Moto X Freestyle event since 2006 wagered a small
bet of $5.00 with last year's gold winner Blake "Bilko" Williams who
was sure that Pastrana would be unable to come back with a win.  Pastrana,
of course, won that bet, beating silver medalist Levi Sherwood by just one
point, and pleasing his fans worldwide.

Pastrana
who was slated to compete in the Best Trick competition, pulled out of the
competition knowing he wouldn't be able to pull off his latest trick he had
been working on and didn't want to disappoint his fans by repeating old
tricks. 

Pastrana's
fans were once again entertained, however, when he competed in the Speed and
Style competition.  A former National Motocross and East Coast Supercross
Champion, the course provided an outlet for Pastrana to demonstrate his
Supercross speed and technical abilities along with his freestyle skills. 
Pastrana raced and freestyled his way to yet another gold medal victory with
Nate Adams taking gold and Ronnie Faisst and Twitch Stenberg both taking bronze
after a bizarre and wild race between the two competitors.
