Energy/Suzuki City’s Malcolm Stewart was in top form at the Dallas
Supercross this weekend in front of a huge crowd of 51,009 fans at
Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Stewart came out strong and rode
well all night, resulting in 4th place in East Coast Lites.
Stewart
started his first heat race on the ground. As soon as the gate dropped,
he tangled with another rider, sending them both down. He remounted
last and started charging. He fell one more time before charging to an
impressive 6th place finish.
In the
main event, Stewart got a mid-pack start, then he quickly moved through
traffic and was inside the top-10 by the end of the second lap. With
three laps to go he was running 5th when Lemoine went down, allowing
Stewart to catch and pass for a 4th place finish. He is looking for a
good rest of the series and he is currently sitting in 8th place in the
East Coast Lites series standings.
