AFMXA Amateur Nationals and Ramp Awards to Air This Week on FUEL TV

AFMXA and FUEL TV will celebrate the best in FMX with full broadcast, Thursday, February 10th at 9PM



WHAT:

The American Freestyle Motocross Association (AFMXA) recognized the year's top FMX athletes at the second-annual AFMXA Nationals
at Pala Raceway and AFMXA Ramp Awards at Pala Casino Spa & Resort
in Pala, Calif. Fans around the U.S. will be able to watch the best
from both events on the FUEL TV broadcast premiere, this Thursday, February 10th at 9PM ET/6PM PT.

Some
of the world's top amateur riders will be featured, competing for gold,
silver and bronze prizes within the Novice, Amateur and Pro-Am event
classes on the AFMXA's newly designed training facility at Pala
Raceway. The FUEL TV special will then move to the Grand Cabaret Lounge
at Pala Casino Spa & Resort for the second-annual AFMXA Ramp Awards. The evening includes some of the biggest names in the sport, including Brian Deegan, Mike Metzger and Nate Adams. Hosted by TV/radio star Riki Rachtman,
the 2010 AFMXA Ramp Awards include categories such as Biggest Slam,
Mucho Cahones and Lusk Legacy Rider of the Year and A Fan Favorite
category.


WHY:
The
AFMXA Amateur Series and Ramp Awards further AFMXA's mission to
organize, protect, and develop the sport of Freestyle Motocross in a
collective and collaborative manner. AFMXA provides membership for
amateur riders, offering safety and training programs throughout the
year, while also promoting safer event standards and exposure for
professional riders.

The AFMXA Ramp Awards will feature the biggest names in freestyle moto, including Brian Deegan, Mike Metzger, Nate Adams and Jeremy 'Twitch' Stenberg.

The Amateur Nationals include the best amateur FMX riders from around the world competing in three classes (Novice, Amateur, Pro-Am), along pro demo highlights.
