Press Release

2010 British Motocross GP is Go

FUNCHAL
(PORTUGAL), 31 March 2010 – Youthstream’s President Giuseppe Luongo
has
today confirmed that there definitely will be a British Motocross
Grand
Prix in 2010, thus dispelling previous stories surrounding this
subject.

“Unfortunately we have not been able to find a way forward with the
local
promoter in Great Britain, but that does not mean that the FIM World
Motocross Championship will not visit the UK during 2010. At
Youthstream we
recognise just how significant the British Grand Prix is to the
series and
this is something that we wish to continue,” Giuseppe Luongo
declared
emphatically.

Continuing, Luongo then stated: “In light of recent events, we have
decided
to promote the British Grand Prix in conjunction with the ACU. As
many will
already know, we are responsible for many aspects of the event
operations
at each Grand Prix, so we have a lot of experience in this kind of
work.
Although we cannot confirm the exact venue or date at this moment,
we can
guarantee that we will have some good news for the British fans very
soon.”

“Currently we are looking at the schedule, and our idea is to find a
date
later in the year, so that we have enough time to make all the
necessary
arrangements. We would like to apologise for any confusion or
inconvenience
that this change of date and venue may have caused, but we are sure
you
will appreciate that not all matters have been in our hands,” ended
Giuseppe Luongo.

Jim Parker, Chairman of ACU Ltd, added: “The ACU is delighted to be
able to
assist Youthstream and the FIM in their determination to ensure that
a
World Championship Motocross takes place in
England.

“Following on from the experience we have gained in organising the
MX of
Nations and the British Championships we are determined to make even
greater efforts to ensure that this prestigious event becomes the
jewel in
the crown of English Motocross this year.”
