Super Spoiler: Millville 2010

Ryan Dungey (Rockstar Makita Suzuki) was riding solo for most of the second moto at Millville

Ryan Dungey (Rockstar Makita Suzuki) won his, oh...83rd or 84th overall of the season with a 1-1 day at Millville, and trouble for some of his closest contenders give him a whopping 89 point lead over second place (now Honda Red Bull Racing's Andrew Short).

One of the coolest parts of Millville was the return of Kevin Windham in a fill-in role for the injured Davi Millsaps. K-Dub holeshot and led about half of the first moto.

In the 250 class, it was GEICO Powersports Honda's Trey Canard taking his second staight overall of the 2010 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship, and he's closing up on Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Dean Wilson for second overall. Wilson's teammate, Christophe Pourcel, still has a healthy lead of his own in the title chase, with a 32-point gap over second.

Trey Canard battled with Christophe Pourcel in moto one, and Dean Wilson in moto two, and came away with the overall in the 250 class.

As a bonus, the women of the WMX raced their fifth round of the season, with Jessica Patterson (DNA Shred Stix / Star Racing / Yamaha) prevailing over Honda Red Bull Racing's Ashley Fiolek. The big difference? A first moto crash by Fiolek after contact with JP$.

In the first moto, Ashley Fiolek and Jessica Patterson were trading the lead reguarly...at least unil the two tangled and Fiolek went down.

Check back later for our usual post-race Photo Blast, as well as Pit Bits.
