Searle and Anstie Return to Grand Prix Circuit for 2011 2

Max Anstie and Tommy Searle will both be returning to the GP scene in 2011, and the UK riders will both be riding the MX2 class aboard Kawasakis as members of the French-based Team CLS Kawasaki Pro Circuit squad. That team scored its first GP win last month at the Swedish GP with Steven Frossard, though Frossard will be moving up to MX1 division due to age limit restrictions in MX2.

Both Searle and Anstie have spent time aboard Kawasakis, riding under the Team Green UK banner before moving on to other opportunities. Searle will once again look to race the West Coast Supercross season, and then move back to the GPs. That also means we'll see an all-new 250 squad for the FMF/KTM team, who had previously announced that MX2 World Champ Marvin Musquin will be moving to the U.S. in 2011.

Anstie has shown quite a bit of potential this season, with some breakthrough Supercross results and great speed in the outdoor season, but he has been hampered by crashes and injuries. It will be interesting to see how his career develops on familiar terrain aboard the Team CLS Kawasaki Pro Circuit bikes.
