It helps the shock stay linear longer (more plush) before getting into the high speed circuit that makes it feel harsh. This translates into a better handling bike on straights, in the whoops and through the turns. It also keeps the back end planted in breaking bumps. Recommended sag with the Rideng Link is 101-105mm.
