Ryan Villopoto (Monster Energy Kawasaki) had the red plate for the first time in round eight of the 2011 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship season at Unadilla, and by the end of the day he'd scored a pair of moto wins and extended his lead from a single digit to seven points over Ryan Dungey (Rockstar Makita Suzuki).

Ryan Dungey.

Dungey was as consistent as ever, going 2-2 on the day, but it wasn't easy, as he had to work his way by Justin Barcia (American Honda Racing) who was acting as the Honda team, replacing the injured Josh Grant and Trey Canard, and Kevin Windham, who is on the sidelines relaxing until Supercross starts up again. Dungey and Barcia went bar-to-bar in the first moto, and actually tangled in the air in moto two, with Barcia hitting the deck.

Dean Wilson.

Just like Ryan Villopoto was dominant in the 450s, Dean Wilson (Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki) was set to full kill in the 250 class, taking both moto wins. While he did score second overall, Blake Baggett seemed like he was missing something here at Unadilla, going 2-3 on the day.

Blake Baggett.

Eli Tomac (GEICO Honda) was fifth in the first moto, but came back for a strong second-place finish in moto two, and that was enough to grab third overall. Kyle Cunningham (DNA Shred Stix / Star Racing / Yamaha) was fourth overall, and rookie Justin Bogle was fifth overall with a pair of impressive sixth-place finishes in his first pro outing.
