Must-See Photo: The Lites Main Event 11

If you listened to tonight’s webcast from St. Louis on supercrossonline.com, you undoubtedly heard about the contact between Trey Canard and Ryan Villopoto as they battled in the main event for the Lites East title.

Villopoto had just passed for the lead a few corners previous to this and Canard was passing back for the lead.

Here’s a quick pic, where the contact had happened in the 90-degree right-hander before the finish line jump. Villopoto ended up hitting the finish line structure, and Canard went on to claim the title.

Before you make up your mind on this one, you’ll have to catch the highlights on CBS and/or Speed. We’ll have some more comments from each of the riders later.
