DV12 Update

David Vuillemin.

David Vuillemin suffered a DNF in San Francisco with a knee injury. In his entry for the race on DV12.com, David explained, “When we got on the gate for the main, it was pouring! They cut the main to 15 laps. I got a great start again. I was maybe 5th or 6th. I ended up the first lap in 7th. It was real muddy with lot of deep ruts! After 3-4 laps, I was still 7th but I twisted my knee in the rut before the finish. I heard and felt a pop in my knee and it was painful. I rode on lane like that and stopped on a jump to try to pop it back in. I put the bike on neutral and tried to stretch my knee. It didn't help and I had to DNF...”

DV was bummed afterwards, since he was in a good spot and had a chance to turn in the best result of the season to date.

In that same entry, DV explained that he was in Amsterdam on his way to Marseille, France, where he’d be visiting his osteopath. Here’s hoping that he can get things back in shape in time for A3 and the rest of the season.
