Clearing up the L&M Confusion

When Yamaha sent out their announcement about Chad Reed and Nathan Ramsey signing for the '07 season with L&M Racing, speculation quickly ran rampant that the L&M in the announcement was the same cigarette brand that had sponsored MX1 World Champion Stefan Everts for several years.

Of course, cigarette advertising in U.S. motorsports has pretty much been legislated into extinction, and in this case the L&M actually stands for Larry (Brooks) and Mike (Kranyak), and while it's know that they'll be aboard Yamahas, the team's sponsors will be announced at a later date.
