My 2020 ktm 85 never had a problem then until one ride it just turned off. I had been riding threw puddles all weekend in the bush and when i got home around my house it turned off. I then tried to start it again it started then turned off shortly after so walked it back when i got it home i flushed tank, flushed carby, wd40d electrics and replaced reed pedals. It starts but turns off after 20 seconds of running, it also is throwing heaps of white smoke. Then checked spark plug every time after we try start it and its fouled up with oil. Also checked piston, cylinder, and rods all in working order. any help would be great.
cheers Mark
Sounds like maybe you overheated and blew the head o rings and are now sucking and burning coolant. Remove the radiator cap and start the bike and see if compression bubbles are coming up in the coolant.
definitely didn't get hot but ordered new gaskets anyways. thanks
At the moment I'm assuming its a stator. Not sure where the ck plug is located ?

Hi all just replaced base gaskets, wrist pin bearing and new head O-rings. Also put spare ignition coil on. still not working and cutting out after 30 seconds. Its not fuel or air or anything internal. ???
Cheers
Also (factor E) it has yellow spark.
