Hey guys, I have a 2014 RMZ250 that was working great, zero issues. Recently I guess one of the electrical wires got loose and laid against the hot header pipe and melted it down to bare wire. This all occurred after I landed off a jump and the bike died immediately and wouldn't refire and that's when I inspected this and found the melted coating.
Well today I taped up the wires and kicked on 'er a couple times and it fired right up. Thought all was great until I tried to rev it up and it backfired like crazy. It will not stop or clear up and I am confused as to what is happening. Any ideas? Attatched is the photo of where that wire goes.
Sorry, I don't know more about what that wire is even for. I'm not that great with mechanics but I appreciate any info you all can share.
Thank you!
