Having a hard time deciding between a 24’ 250xc or 250xcw for woods. Living in Kentucky it’s mostly some tight, technical single track with some faster trails mixed in. Tips and opinions appreciated.

For woods single track and trail riding xcw hands down. Suspension and power delivery much more suited for that type riding. I've had a '23 250xc, '23 300sx and now a '24 TX300 Husky and there are times I wish I had gotten the XCW/TE line. I race a handful of times a year and just trail ride the rest of time.

Also consider that XCW has no rear end linkage on the shock. It's less maintenance but rides differently than the XC or all the Husky bikes that all have linkage.

IMO linkage rides more plush and works better overall

I've had XCW 's, XC's and now prefer the Husky TE models for woods/trails riding.

Think of the TE has a mellowed out XCW type bike but has linkage .
