Its likely that most series haven't released race schedules yet, but I can't even find a good source to go to for a series schedule.
canada has the pnwma which does a good job of having a clear schedule, id like to dip into the US for some races in Washington and Idaho but I can't find a good place to research which races to go to.
im also totally unfamiliar with the formats of enduro, sprint enduros and hare scrambles. does pnw mostly do hare scrambles?
You've got multiple options in WA (https://nmaoffroad.org/nma-series-schedules/).
The Goldendale races are long (30+min laps) GP style courses that are unique and fun. The most fun I've ever had racing was the 6hr team race at Eddieville. Avoid if it rains though.
Randall and Rimrock are in the Cascades, so those will be in the trees. I hear the Rimrock race is pretty cool, but never been personally.
Odessa is eastern WA scrub desert. Fast, embedded rocks, bottlenecks. D100 is a massive event and is fun even if not racing. May also want to avoid if its been raining.
I dont know much about the enduro series, but I did ride in Shelton once and it was tight. Would be an interesting place for a scramble.
Not too much organized racing in Idaho. You've got the Silver Mtn enduro in Kellogg (and it is f'n gnarly...I used to sweep ride this event). Idaho City 100 down south. There's some local races around St Maries and Fossil bowl hosts a few MX races. MX track near Spokane is pretty active too.
I know this is late but also check out NORCS, in addition to NMA. Both are good, I believe more classes are short course with NORCS.
NW offroad series are
NMA(WA) - Enduro's, scrambles, gp's, xc's
OMRA(Oregon) - similar to NMA
NORCS(WA) - same format for each round, GPish
SIDRA(ID) mainly desert racing
AMA West Hare scrambles
NHHA has a stop in Idaho normally
Some random one off events sprinkled in.
China Hat ISDE, Desert 100, and Idaho City 100 always have good turn outs/sell out
Schedules tend to trickle out between December and February.
