Yeah mate.
don’t follow it as much as I used to, but am always up for a Rugby World Cup.
some of my fondest memories is the ‘03 World Cup in Aus.

Ha! I was there! Stayed a year on a backpacking trip, first few weeks were at the pink Roadhouse in oodnadatta, then hitch hiked down to Adelaide, the Sydney. Saw Canada v tonga, was amazing atmosphere. Met a really drunk guy at the train station who promised me a job in his book binding plant. Crazy bastard actually came through and I worked there for a couple months.

Good match. I thought France was hanging on for dear life first half, but man they came back strong.  NZ seemed to have a few issues with penalties, not sure it would have changed anything in the end.

Thought the Sam that the All Blacks looked good at the end of the first half. To many mistakes , and the forwards not getting forward ball , I feel we are just a 4th ranked team now

If I had to bet, it would be south  Africa at the moment for the win

I don't watch local rugby but will always watch any game that the Springboks play. So many great teams can win this year.

Looking forward to seeing how far our dudes will make it.

I don't trust them Kiwis...I feel like this is part of their plan. When those buggers come alive then everyone is in the shit...South Africa has had some good games so far but can be beaten when it counts.

The Saffas against an Irish or French team in the final I reckon.

I’ve been under a rock, shocked that the US and Canada didn’t make it. They’ve always been solid 2nd tier teams capable of an upset.

if the All Blacks can play the 3 finals matches like they played the 1st two tests of the year then we can win it

Portugal winning against Fiji was awesome , Samoa got so close against England, Aussie gone after going down to Fiji ,

finals now. The Nz vs Ireland and France vs South Africa quarters will determine the finalists  I think either of those 4 teams can win it ,

Yeah I did not see that coming. Seems like more upsets this year than what is typical. I wonder if it will translate to more long term parity among the tier 2 nations.

Two big games this weekend.

All Blacks vs Ireland tonight...that's gonna be huge.

Springboks have their hands full tomorrow against France. The Frenchie fans are gonna be very noisy. I just hope the Boks can ignore the noise.

Knockout stage boys. There will be tears.

Eddie Jones is set to depart Australia and head back to Japan, as reported by Japanese media.

His future with the Wallabies has remained uncertain, even though the 58-year-old coach returned to Australia just nine months ago.

Who will take over the Wallabies? It's a crying shame as the Wallabies used to be thread to win at any time. I'm happy that Jones is moving on.

Sneak off to your local and have a Pint for the boys.

Insane game worthy of being a Cup Final.

What a game! Sorry for your wife but the All Blacks deserved that one after fighting back from two yellow cards and a penalty try. Awesome match.

8am kick off here went to the local cafe and had a couple at the local with the family,   good win by the all blacks, tough game, neither team deserved to lose,

SA france will be tough tomorrow, I think who wins that will meet the all blacks in the final,

looking like a repeat final of 1995,  another bruising match,  would be easy for SA or NZ to lose this weekend after such massive games,

Another bad year for northern hemisphere teams,  with only England making the semis,  huge for Ireland and France, the top 2 ranked teams in the world to go out in the quarters,

That game was insane. At half time I really though that the French had us covered. Both teams deserved to win but I'll take our 1 point win all day long.

New Zealand should get past the Pumas on Friday but with the upsets we have seen so far I wouldn't want to bet on it.

Boks vs England on Saturday will be another unknown..it's a safe bet that the whole Northern Hemisphere will be behind England.

We wait....

Just finished France/NZ. All 4 quarter matches were great, they all were up for grabs until the bitter end. Well fought rugby all around.
