Midnight Rider finally gets to hang out with Duane, Gregg, Barry and Butch again.

RIP Dickey,  thanks for the tunes you left behind.

Oh man bummer.  One of my favorites. This was one of the first songs I learned on guitar, X2 what JAF092 said, he gave us a lot of great music. RIP

Listened to Fillmore East last night. Still blows my mind that after the 23 min Whipping Post that ends the album, you can hear the intro to Mountain Jam as it fades out. Some of the best music ever came from those shows.

My 1st real concert was the Allman's with Bob Weir opening but by that time sadly Dicky was out of the band.

Close. A son of another member of the Allman's. Also was a member of the band later.

Saw the ABB for the first time in 92.  They were coming back strong after being mostly inactive throughout the 80's.   Saw them many times over the next 10 years or so.  I stopped going to see them when then kicked Dickey out.

RIP Dickey

@JAFO92 Warren is amazing too. Music is subjective and that's one of the things that makes it beautiful.
