Hard Knocks is covering the Bears this year, seems like he’s doing well on that footage. They have a really good receiver group.

Looking forward to another disappointing season being a cardinal fan. At least we have Marvin Harrison Jr to watch. Defense will be meh, offense has potential if Kyler can stay healthy.. which is about a 3% chance.

If Kingsbury and Keim were still heading things up, I'd agree.  I think Gannon has done a good job at turning the program around, and Ossenfort has done some shrewd bargaining this offseason.  I'd put them at a +500 team this year, and nipping for a playoff spot.

I like the optimism but we still have significant holes on defense. I'd say best case scenario would be a .500 team. but most likely a couple games under .500. At least that's what I think, I guess I've learned to keep my expectations of the team low. I do agree than Gannon is right guy for the job.

Well, That's it for me. It's been getting worse every year but this is too much. I'm done with the NFL. The only way I can watch it is on antenna which means I cant rewind or skip the goddam, cocksucking, brain melting, asinine fucking commercials. It's not worth it. I made it to halftime and that's it. There goes 50 years of digging the NFL.

I'd like to be optimistic, but unfortunately it is the Cardinals, and I've been very skeptical of Kyle Murray the last few years. I wish they would have let him walk when he held out for a Max contract when he in reality, never really accomplished anything at the Pro level. Hopefully Marvin Harrison can help bring out the best in Murray as he does have a terrific arm but is too short in my opinion.

Unlike you guys, I have not been that impressed with Gannon. I've never seen a coach show less emotion than this guy. 🙄 You cannot tell if his team is winning or losing and I've yet to see him say anything to any player, good or bad.

Switching gears, what a game that was last night and Mahomes continues to show the league that he is the best quarterback for the last 4 years or so.

Oh, man that sounds like a hell of a offer, but I have reservations at a campground that weekend that I made back in May, as it's a real bitch to get them. Had to cancel my previous reservations in August as my wife is not doing good, hopefully she will be okay for this one.

I did look at tickets though, and there are $250 + for second level seats 💺 😳

I don't think it's worth it to see the cardinals get their ass whipped for that much dough.... 🤔 😂

Looked rusty, Aiyuk will get better and so will Trent W. Mason is a real good player, and will help take some load of CMC plus our O-line was surprisingly good. Schedule is brutal though.

Why aren’t kickers drilling line drives that could take bad hops on kickoffs?

The ball has to land in the "landing zone" first. (I think that's between the 20 and the goal line.) It could be done, though.

I bet teams will concoct some different kicking strategies soon.

There was talk of him playing but I think he's out this week . They didn't put him on 4 week IR so I think they expect him to be ready soon .

Saw a funny comment that said “tyreek calling for rasul Douglas job after being detained all night”….to be real though, fuck those cops, power trippin fucks. You gotta have something seriously wrong with you psychologically to even consider that job. Grown up tattletales.

Further proof that there is only one kind of good cop….ifykyk

The Saints. 91 points in two games with Derek Carr.

Who had this?

I know that every sports outlet and analyst is trying to come up with new, somewhat unique metrics to measure player performance, but one that has always made me shake my head is QBR.  I understand the traditional 'Quarterback Rating' isn't perfect, but it has always seemed to be far more indicative of what I see with my own eyes when watching football games.  The QBR is over 10 years old and I have never seen it make too much sense overall.  I know it is an ESPN stat, but last night's ratings are a good example of how different this rating is compared to the old standard Quarterback Rating, and I think last night probably shows that the QBR was pretty wonky.  Kirk Cousins had a Rating almost 30 points higher than Jalen Hurts, but in QBR he's lower by about a dozen points.  Crazy.  I'd take the Cousins stats/play all day long over the Hurts line from last night.
