My top 3 all are seafood, but without a doubt the best was in Port Angeles, Washington. Fresh caught halibut stuffed with Dungeness crab. So good I had tears in my eyes! Even the sides, best salad and green beans I've ever had, and the potatoes were excellent too.
1. Kangaroo Steak/Freemason Abbey/Norfolk, VA
2. Super White Tuna/Rock-N-Roll Sushi/South Beach, FL
3. Crawfish stuffed Filet Mignon with a Bordelaise sauce/My kitchen
That looks absolutely delicious! What restaurant was that at? I might have to check it out some time.
Scallops, prime rib, and creme brulee at the Ahwahnee in Yosemite on my honeymoon. The best of all 3 I've ever had at the end of an absolutely perfect day.

My Grandpa's fried bologna and homegrown tomato sammiches. Probably more to do with him than the food.
I did eat at a Chilean restaurant in San Francisco years ago. Couldn't tell you what it was. I just told the waiter, "Bring me what you guys eat". I remember it being exceptional.
Maybe not the highest quality, but the pizza shack in Curry Village after a Half Dome hike was one of the most satisfying meals.
Elk with pinion sauce at Paradise Lodge on Mount Rainier. My crew stayed late to get the boilers up and, running during the remodel in 08. After cleaning up, we were all handed menus from the chef and, told pick anything we wanted.
There was a hole in the wall vietnamese restaurant in Houston that myself and a friend used to go to at least once or twice a week for lunch.
One evening we showed up right before closing. The staff was sitting down to dinner, they recognized us, motioned is to sit at their table.
The food was amazing.Didn't know what half of it was, but it was a lot spicier than what we usually had for lunch.
Poodles and Noodles at Panda Express. They’re seasonal though.
There's a little Vietnamese place in Wichita. Just the owner and his wife. He runs the front of house...she cooks. Elvis Presley on the PA...and only Elvis. It's the cleanest (I mean taste...not sanitary. Although, the place is immaculate), freshest food I've ever had. Good people doing it right.
These yellowfin Tuna tacos I had at a place called Coco Loco on the playa flamingo beach in Costa Rica. They were amazing.
Cafeteria food at the shrimp and tilapia plant I was working at outside of Guayaquil Ecuador.
French Laundry Napa.
Guy Savoy Paris.
Grilled Fish with lime just caught on the beach outside Belem, Brazil with a cooler of Coke bottles.
Michel Richard from Citronelle hand feeding me braised veal cheeks at the French Embassy in DC.
Cheese, bread and wine with Daniel Boulud in the hotel room after the millennium event in Toronto with a bunch of my fellow chefs.
Too many good meals in my life to pick one.
Too many of my favorite meals were more than just the food.
It’s all I’ve done since I was a 15 year old.
Sushi bar for pre dinner and its main restaurant Salt for dinner at The Ritz on Amelia Island. Exceptional every time.
We had a canoe/fishing trip go south back in college. Make a long story short we wrecked the canoe and lost everything in the river. It was winter, we were wet, and we were lost. Honestly the best meal I have ever had was when we finally made it out a few days later found a gas station. Explained the situation and she let us use the phone and gave us gas station hot dogs. Best meal I have ever had
When I came home from the gulf war I went straight on leave. I went home. My mom through a surpize party for me and cooked all my favorite meals growing up for the party. I gotta say me, my friends and family ate like kings that day!
I miss my Mom...
The best meal I ever had will be in about 3 hours. Daughter is making spagatee and meat balls. Not going to even try to spell it. Phucing spell check on the fritz.
Pit Row
Ribeye steak, baked potato, pepper sauce and a salad on the side.

Same here. All the best meals I have had in my life were made by my mom. Chicken Marengie, chicken broccoli casserole, soy vie marinated pork chops with garlic butter broccoli and apple sauce. I also really miss my mom too, especially during the holidays. She went all out decorating for Christmas every year when I was growing up and it was my favorite time of year. She passed on December 16th 2003. I now hate the holidays and can't wait until January 1st.
I always wish I could pass out after dinner on Thanksgiving and wake up Jan 1.
Same here. I should get a free case of Crown Royal for how much money I give them during November and December.
Sicilian chicken at Villa de Roma in Philadelphia.
Had a lot of great meals. When ever we finished a hhg drill rig project. We hit the best and most expensive restaurant in the city. If it was near a coast it was seafood if not it was the best steak. They forced you too drink hard so it’s a little hard to remember the food . We could bring a date I warned her you,ll probably hv to call in sick. A restaurant in Anaheim had karaoke we where all forced to sing so it was pretty funny. They purchased the plane tickets the day b4 flying home . So I moved up to 1st class fillet mignon is so good along with a fancy dessert. Funny I know a naitive American chic she said a women order fillet mignon and pronounced it like it’s spelled . Haha I traveled ovr night on a train to buy a box van in Md. train food tastes like cardboard. Now a good meal is a scummy Italian place on a corner in Jersey. Or a catfish dinner the se. In the 90,s there was steak and legs 24 hr restaurants . They where topless a waitress ovr worked with food on her chest. Haha
top 5 best meals…

Had an unreal meal at Sullivans steak house in Omaha while driving from California to Millville for the national ,
I can't narrow it down to one meal but I do have two best meals ever. First was with my wife in Hollywood Florida, the name of the restaurant escapes me but it had small outdoor cafe seating. We ate Chateaubriand with bearnaise sauce, and it was amazing. Not only was the food delicious it was a perfect South Florida evening with some breeze and not too hot.
The next one has a bit of a story. I was with my brother and cousin in Vegas. My brother had a seat in the WSoP and we were planning on a nice dinner on his break. well, right before his break he busted out of the tournament. This was just after my cousin and I decided it didn't look that far from Caeser's to the Rio, so we hoofed it, big mistake. Anyway, as we walk to the restaurant my brother says to us, "Give me 50 bucks." He drops 150 bucks on black on the roulette table, boom up $300. He says let it ride. Now we have $600. After he lets it ride one more time, we got 1200 bucks on the table. He grabs it and says "let's go eat." My and my cousin are sitting there with our jaws open because it was the most gangsta move ever. We go get on the private elevator to the top of the Rio for the Voodoo Steakhouse. They had a table for us right away but we wanted to have drinks and check out the view. Beautiful sunset sitting on lush white couches drinking whiskey with some of the best people in your life is tough to beat. We beat it with the house specialty "Voodoo Menage a Trois, which was filet, lobster and tiger prawn. Had some wine with dinner and finished it up with some more after dinner whiskey outside again on the couches. Food was amazing, views were amazing and the company was amazing. After winning $1200 we only had to add a little of our own cash to cover the bill. lol
Best night ever.
Pretty much anything I’ve had from the Maranello area/region. Here is one meal, appetizer / first plate / second plate. Unbelievably inexpensive too. Have probably as many food photos as I do anything else from there. And for good measure, an everyday street cruiser for a 14 year old since we are on an MX site afterall.
At the risk of sounding like eminem, I would have to say it was my mom's spaghetti. She made and canned her own sauce a few times a year and we had it every few months for about 2 years after she passed. That last jar of sauce was hard to use, but fortunately my wife learned how to make it very close to my mom's sauce so it's not completely lost.
