Eugene's real life daughter is also on the show. She plays Twyla (works at the diner).
Halfway thru Season 3 now. Jocelyn is another character that cracks me up. The acting is so good in this show.

Chris Elliott as Roland Schitt is pretty good. Every time I see him it reminds me of There's Something About Mary.

Alexis is such a twit lol. She's great.

Edit: Just a heads up, there was a X-mas special episode that aired before Season 5. Not sure if they made it part of Season 4 or 5 or a stand alone episode.

Stevie is hot in a quirky way and Alexis is straight up bangin, David is fuckin' hilarious, and Roland is the perfect role for Chris Elliot. every time he's on screen i think about Something About Mary and the zit on his eyeball lmao

Few episodes into that. Really interesting, had no idea what a Humboldt county has turned into. It’s a shame. We went on a RV trip in that area a couple of years ago and it was one of the most beautiful pieces of country we have ever been in

Through 4 episodes of Escape from Demorra. Crazy. Watched an episode of Murder mountain and it seems a bit exaggerated. I think a lot of those people that are missing either just don't want found or overdosed on heroin and left in the woods.

On to Shameless. Had to check it out, seems very popular. Pretty funny and also disturbing so far. Good times.

Shameless crosses over into greatness especially in the later seasons.

Man Shameless is right. Dysfunctional to the max. Only on season 2 episode 10 and glad there is a lot left. Crazy. Just happened to see the preview for a new season coming on Showtime. Wow, what is it like 9 or 10 seasons? Good times!

I’ve watched Shameless thru the years as it’s been broadcasted on Showtime. They’re all good with Seasons 7, 8 and so far 9 being my favorite ones.

Does anyone know why Sunday nights are when most of the top cable shows are slotted for new episodes? Our DVR gets worked over on Sunday nights.

Sunday. Most people are off and take it easy before going back to work Monday morning.

Seems like all the best shows air on Sunday's.

Just a thought but why DVR anything? Since you already have a subscription you could just log into Showtime, HBO, CBS, etc. with your cable/satellite provider information the following day or whenever you have time to watch the show.

Could save you some money and the hassle of remembering to DVR stuff.

^^^ I noticed that a long time ago.

Sandler is known to put a lot of his friends in his movies and it goes way back. Remember the caddy/bum in Happy Gilmore? That guy plays in a lot of Sandler movies. Everything from The Wedding Singer, Anger Management, Little Nicky, 50 First Dates, The Longest Yard, Mr. Deeds, and a whole lot more.

Good for him though. Having a lot of success and sharing it with his friends.

Just started watching season 2 and really enjoying it so far. The Punisher has been one my favorite Marvel characters and they've done a great job with this show IMO.

It's been out for awhile but I really enjoyed Altered Carbon. Although it's not a Netflix show, The Man in the High Castle on amazon is fantastic!

^^^ Yellowstone was mentioned.

I was looking forward to watching it up here in Canada since one of the channels switched over to Paramount but to my surprise the show never aired. Can't watch it on the website either.

Damn that sucks. Hopefully you can find it at some point. They’re currently filming season 2.

Anyone get into the series on Amazon prime called “Bosch” ? I tried the first episode last night and it seems like it is done well and could be interesting. 4 seasons too so if it’s good I’ve got a lot to look forward to

I am 6 episodes into season 1, so far it is very interesting. Really good show, like you said it has run 4 seasons so it must have potential.

It is amazing how many great shows are available now, with all the cable networks and Netflix/ Amazon creating more every day. Must be a ton of new jobs being created in the TV industry, don't really hear much about it but there are hundreds of series in production and airing, most have multiple seasons. I would assume that would mean thousands of direct jobs plus many thousands (or more) of jobs created or sustained with the indirect revenue from the shows.

Good times for people who want to get into television show production.
