Realistically I think he win the SMX overall...I don't know about going 1-1, 1-1, 1-1 though.

Dude's crazy but I dunno. I have a hard time seeing him beating Chase in a few days fresh off an injury. I'm guessing possibly 3rd overall if things go his way. His starts are way too good and I think this track is gonna be tough to pass on unless you are significantly faster than the competition.
Also, I have to laugh at magoofan complaining about "Deegan haterz" in every thread and yet he's the first person to post and throw shade in this thread practically seconds after it was created. You gotta stop exposing yourself like this so blatantly my man. You are clearly not as unbiased as you claim to be

He found a way to win every race after hangtown and before the thumb injury, he was definitely compromised. I hope Chase has something for him but I don’t think he stands a chance.
The now reigning SX and current SMX champion is now on an even better bike, after having plenty of time to rest, with all the motivation in the world to remind the field who he is. He’s gonna win right away. I’m telling you now.
I think he is on the podium but not quiet up to pace in the first round. He will bounce back with a 1-1 in second round though.
There was barely anything between Chase and Jett before injury. So I think its unlikely a few weeks on the bike outside of race conditions for him to match Chase in peak form.
GooFan is the biggest Jett hater on Vital, he just can't admit to it. He also has a very soft (or should I say hard) spot for Deegan.

Something to consider: Unless Jett is really ailing, and assuming he rips his typical good starts and starts ahead of Chase, aint no way he's just letting Chase go by him without a fight. Could be enough to "force" Jett up to race pace rather quickly.
I don't know if it's realistic, but I sure hope Jett wins.

Actually she was the national female champion for the previous years prior to selection, so that part was legit. But she seriously misjudged what was going to translate on the Olympic stage 😂
I think that the really special racers, like Jett, find motivations for trying to destroy their opponents as much as possible.
I think that Jett will find at least some, maybe a lot, of motivation to beat Chase in the way that Chase seemed to ‘break’ Hunter’s spirit this summer. He’ll be wanting to exact a bit of revenge. Hopefully he doesn’t feel the need to go for the jugular too early if he’s not quite at his peak the first round.

I wouldn't be shocked if he wins, that's for sure. I just think he'll be a tick off. So excited Jett is back.
