Considering getting my passport and making the trip to France this fall! Anyone been over there before for the previous years? Recommendations on where to fly into, and stay?
You gotta fly to Paris, then it's a 3 and a half hours drive from CDG airport. You can stay in Fougères or Mayenne at best, because you will have a hard time finding rooms or hotels near Ernée which is a very small town.
Can't help you there because we went with the camper, but Ernee desnations 2005 is my all time favorite race I have attended. And I've been to a lot of races.
One of the best tracks to watch a race in person. Especially mxdn
Agreed. The vibe will be insane. Pre-sales are off the roof, it's gonna be packed.
Everyone that I've listened to and talked to says that it was hands down the wildest des nations to date. Hopefully everyone stays healthy and it will be one hell of a race!

MXoNs in France are always a blast. Go if if possibly can, you won't regret it.
You could fly into Rennes from Paris then it's only 80km from the track Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations | Ernée | MXGP
Flying into Rennes from Paris is unlikely, and i guess very very expensive. Taking the TGV (high speed train) would be much more convenient and a lot cheaper if you want to go public tansports.
also thinking of going.
We’re going too. Got a VRBO not too far from Ernee for a couple nights, then 5 more days/nights to visit Normandy and other sight seeing…
Yep going to be there too with friends ! Gonna be epic ! Hope the USA send their best riders (would think it will be again tomac sexton cooper but we will see how the outdoors plays out)
How about Laval? What is it like getting too and from the track from those two towns you mentioned.
Fougères, Laval and Mayenne are all about half an hour from the track, not so bad.
