This is so unbelievable accurate for me too 😅 . Personally I would not want to race with this condition. Good effort Tomac!

There is no telling what kind of shit you boys were up too, that guy is a trip.

Now that I have a Kawi, every time he sees me he starts singing let the good times roll.

Nowadays kids are too cool/pussy to work and race moto.

Plumbers lay pipe.

Carpenters shoot guns full of nails.

And Jammer said he owes some of his success to working in a junkyard.

No rest days in the real world.

My brother in law who knows a guy said Tomac swallowed a Viagra that got stuck in his throat. He's had a stiff neck all week.

Yeah I'm sure Eli Tomac, Chase Sexton, Cooper Webb, Jason Anderson, and the Lawrence brothers have time in their schedules to be plumbers and roofers.

None of those guys can lay pipe and sure as hell can't walk on a roof.

None of those guys are kids and they have jobs already.

Lol, Differences in the game: schedule (a lot more races in today's world, training (mx/sx is now a full time job), equipment (technology has raised the ability to race faster/longer), contract responsibilities (fanfest, promotions,...) and money (there is a lot more out there now). Most industries worked less hours and more physically; back in the day - the whole game has progressed for better or worse.

Walk on a roof? Lay pipe? Haha. What the hell are jabbering on about?

If Chase, Eli, Cooper or Lawrence bros came into your profession.... within 6 weeks you would be carrying their coffee. Quit acting like these guys are just jesters to entertain you. They are extremely skilled, organized, driven and very fast adapters in stressful changing conditions. More than I can say for just about ANYBODY I have run across on a modern day job site.

My worthless $0.02

Eli was crying after one week of driving fence post, on the podium.

Cooper Webb said a couple days of laying flooring with his Dad made him understand he needs to work hard at MX.

My entire point to my post was that the plumbers and roofers that Soggy is talking are talented people. No need to disrespect.

I'm not convinced a stiff neck was entirely the problem last week for Eli. Right now, I don't think he is as good (mentally too) as he was last year at this time for a few reasons.

Tomac will have to reel off 4-5 wins in a row to show he is as good as last year at this time in the season.

He's playing a champions game. Why risk it all the time when quite likely he pulls off wins on the tracks that suite him. Why waste countless amounts of energy when the risk/reward factors are too costly. Earn decent points, don't risk injury, rest some and prepare for next weekend. Save some matches.

These guys are for certain some of the fittest athletes on earth...However; they've only so many matches to burn before it really starts to take a toll both energetically and psychologically. With competition so close these days and such a long... extended series. He has to play the long game. That's the way it looks to me, playing this game...

I see him coming out as supercross champion. Likely SuperMotocross too.

I kind of think this is correct, especially for Tomac. It might be like taking a week off mentally for him to refresh or reduce the pressure cooker some.

Maybe that is how his mind works whether on purpose or not.
