Happened to me last week! Ugh, between that and avoiding any spoilers from social media news, it’s pretty difficult to to keep it a surprise
I watched the replay last night at midnight and it shows it available right now?
Never understood why media outlets do this... I follow Premiere league soccer and for some reason they all love to put the final score in the thumbnail. I don't see how having the score (or result) in the thumbnail is going to generate any more clicks?
Yeah, It is up now. But what's the point? SPOILED!!
I am sure I'll watch it tho.

Welcome to the 21st Century, not saying its good.
not sure the concern with this, i won’t be able to watch until tuesday due to travel. I followed the race thread last night, watched a few highlights when i got back to the hotel… I know the results but will still watch the full races when i get home.
SMX Video App needs work too.
I like to fire up the race 1-2hrs in so I can blast through commercials and catch up by the main events. However, it only starts up Live if you join in the middle. You have to mute the TV, hold a hand up over your eyes to cover the screen, and leave enough room to see the slide bar and rewind to the beginning of the stream and hope you don’t get any spoilers.
How hard would it be to add a simple “Would you like to start at the beginning of the broadcast?” option. Unless I’ve missed it
Step 1: open Peacock
Step 2: Search ‘Supercross’
Step 3: Watch the race without getting spoiled.
i know it's ridiculous since you're paying for Peacock, but my Sun am ritual is to load offroadvideos.org - he posts the heats/mains without a single spoiler. it does have some annoying commercials, but meh. Nice to catch up w/ the racing over a cup of coffee.
I got burned by this three or four times last year and decided that I'd rather watch highlights on youtube for free than pay to have races spoiled, so I cancelled their service. Buuuuuuuut, then I found the $20/yr deal from the forums here and went with that. Now I take off my glasses and try to squint so that I can see enough to know it's the race, but not see their stupid spoilers. If it happens again I'm just going to have my wife put it on for me. Oh and then I saw that they lost nearly a billion dollars in a single quarter, so that makes me feel better.
This is how to do it without spoilers. Still shouldn’t have spoilers in title but this is definitely the work around.
That's a total bummer if you're actively avoiding the results.
Being in the UK and working a lot, half the time I don't see the race until later on Sunday.
I've been caught out by the little YouTube video suggestions / push notifications on my phone before, winds me right up when I've intentionally dodged Vital and going on Youtube or socials so I can watch the races without knowing the outcome 😑
I get it's not a big deal if you don't care or you follow it live anyway when you can't watch it, but sometimes it IS a pain in the ass, especially if you have a week of hard grafting and shit weather and you're looking forward to it.
I get this every time I log into Peacock. So I have to delete all cookies and browser history etc. then I can login. But if close the window and reopen it, I get this message again and have to repeat the steps above. Anyone else having this? It does it on Chrome and IE.
How do you make it thru the day? Having to deal with transgressions like this?
Chrome here, and I will get that if I'm actually having internet issues, or if the kid is hogging bandwidth.
It's been up since 30 minutes after the main was what I was saying. I don't know what you're doing wrong, but you're doing it wrong 😂. Open the app, go to sports, pick SMX, and there's no spoilers, just the available races. Pick the one you want and enjoy not knowing what happened.
Post a reply to: Should not be surprised - but - Disappointed in Peacock, Spoiler in video thumbnail
