I guarantee you the rider wearing A-stars will win
Hunter and Sexton will be riding with everything. Tomac will be a beast and wont be surprised if any of these guys win.
However... favouritism and emotion aside. Hard to bet anything against Jett, Every time the pressure is on, he performs.
I'll take that bet. I got Jet for a $100. You can donate to Asterisk med crew.
I never bet on things I can't control and even that's a crap shoot. Things on paper seem to disappear when the knobbies spin.
The Shop
Jett doesn't have many off days, last weekend was his off race. He will holeshot and win both motos.
If Chase can start up front, I think he has what it takes. That second moto illustrated that clearly to me. I'd really love to see it come down to serious bar banging. This is the money round, and politeness should take a back seat.
Are you going to send Venmo requests to everyone who is wrong here?
Chase got the holeshot and rode around, Jett went from 18th to 2nd.....
The opposite happens quite often
Are you talking vegas, or smx champ?
Well whoever wins out of those 3 is the champion anyways.
Fucked thing is first moto doesn’t matter as much. Just need to go 2-1 since they dont pay points per moto.
I like Sexton to break through and get this one. But Hunter grabbing it like Deegs did last year not being MX or SX champ would be cool too.
While I get your point, a great finish in the first moto for sure sets you up better for the overall when you look at how close the top 4 are right now. I don't think any of these guys can settle for 2nd or rely on a better second moto finish at this point.
Hunter to shock the world!!!!!!!!!!
How will Sexton respond if Jett is breathing down his neck?
I'll be happy for whoever wins...a million $$$ is a sweet payday.
Vegas gonna big great racing.
The points system ruins the series. It’s basically a 1 race series.
With Chase’s luck, Jett and Hunter will get hurt and he wraps up yet another championship
Pit Row
He's still got to at least get second in moto 1 and WIN moto 2. I don't think it will be as easy for him as you think. Personally I love the old school scoring system. I think MX should go back to it. Make an overall win worth something.
Imagine Hunter sweeping Jett's front wheel in the last turn.
Hunter looks over at Jett as they clear the jump before the last corner. "Remember Paris, you little shit?!"
Where are you getting 18th to 2nd from? Jett was never further back than 7th in moto 2.
I'll put $10 on Hunter just to be different
After the first turn....
That says 16th
So he crossed the holeshot line in 16th, big deal. The pileup on the inside took out what looks to be 6 or 7 guys which means he went over the first obstacle (the over under) in probably 10th, maybe 9th. That's hardly an historic come from behind ride. If you look at Sexton, he was credited as crossing the holeshot line in 7th but by the 36 second mark he was in 3rd, so he passed roughly the same number of guys Jett did in roughly the same amount of time.
You know that's not updated every second right, I don't have the time or the crayons necessary to draw you a picture.
Why would you need to draw a picture? Should be simple to find a screen grab where he is 18th as you claim
EADC
The holeshot line is where they pulled the timing and scoring bar data from, and the screenshot you posted is from the second turn, which is probably 15-ish feet from the line. Thirty seconds later Jett was in 7th. Even if he didn't win, he rode well, no need to make it seem like he put in some kind of heroic come from behind ride.
Edited to add: in the post where you said Jett went from "18th to 2nd" you also said Chase "holeshot and rode around," but the screenshot you posted shows Chase crossed the line in 7th, which even my public school educated brain knows is not first.
Post a reply to: Sexton, Lawrence or Lawrence...?
