OTD New Bike Prices

1/1/2025 5:49am

Imma keep waiting for the 25s. Want a 300 SX. Hopefully there's still some left with good prices. At least I don't have to pay sales tax in Oregon.

Bought a 2025 Honda Crf250r otd for the Msrp $8299 a couple weeks ago. Dealers always say they HAVE to charge those fees. It's not true. If is, how do some dealers not do it then?

I understand making money but I'm not giving no one $2k in "fees".

There are leftover 24 300SX for $6399 on Cycle Trader. I turned down $7300 otd, no sales tax because I don't like the white as much and driving 4hrs through Atlanta twice. Wasn't worth it. If your near Cali or Washington state there are quite a few for that price. I'm digging the 25 Husky 300TC Heritage. Best I got is $9500 otd no tax. Probably a good deal on a Heritage. Redline has the white for $8399 plus fees. Deals will come soon enough.

I live on the other side of Atlanta from you, what dealer was you talking with on that if you don't mind sharing?

What did your invoice look like? I just bought a 24 kx450 and got it for $5800pre tax. They marked the bike as 5199 then added their freight and setup fees. I didn't care how they got to the figure hut thought it was funny.

It just $8299 there was a "local" tax of about $30 that Chattanooga charges so I for got that but spent more in gas to go get so I don't really count that.

I'm like you, I don't give a shit how they get to the final number so long as it's a number I like. I.e. $1 sale price + $5999 in set, taxes and fees. $6000 otd, I'm good!! Lol

It was Wooleys but they sold it. I think your in Tennessee, Jim's motorcycles in Johnson City has one for 8k. They might budge a tad but it won't be much. The rebates dropped off last night Jan 01 so prices are back up to $9300. Check out cycle trader but I'd expect some KTM rebates to come back very soon with their current situation.

I've bought a few bikes from wooly's. Got a great deal on a 23 125 and 250f leftovers in early 24.

I bought my CRF in Tenn but I'm in Alabama. I know all to well about planning a trip and going through atl twice. It does figure in your decisions. Lol

Very few dealers can match that price. Rebate and team green discount? Good job!

It’s good to see some reasonable deals that match the pace of the economy right now. I went to my local dealer in NJ about a month ago and was quoted $13,726 OTD for both a ‘24 350 XC-F FE and a ‘25 350 XC-F (standard edition). There was no negotiating. The sales guy tried to act like he was giving me a deal. I told him “For your sake dude, I hope you get that, but you’re not getting it from me.”

Just picked up 24 yz450f couple weeks ago for $8500 otd taxes and fees. Thought that was decent for what I was finding within few hours from me.

That’s incredible. Did you do a ton of negotiating?

I scored a 24 YZ250 for $8000 out the door sales tax and everything here in Orlando and it took a couple days of back and forth negotiation.

Nope haha was pretty straight forward and easy. There was a couple dealerships to chose from at that price but this was the closest to me. Good score!

How are you guys scoring bikes under MSRP out the door? Here in central Florida I called around for both YZ125s and YZ250s and it seemed that I was gonna need to pay minimum ~1k over MSRP out the door. In some cases, 1600-2000 over MSRP.

My understanding is that Yamaha generally does not do rebates on the 2 strokes. I got a sweet deal on mine a year and a half ago only because it was Memorial Day and my local dealer had a great sale. I paid less for my 2023 than I did for my 2016.

Interesting! My normal sales guy was pretty adamant about it, but maybe things have changed in a hurry with the economy recently... Or, he was just fulla shit. 🤷‍♂️

Kevin. Total tongue in cheek comment. I'm sure bikes aren't flying off the floor like they were a couple years ago and Yamaha has made some adjustments.

I knew it was tongue in cheek, lol. It’s been hard not just driving down there to pick up a new YZ 😆

I scored a Honda 450RS for $7600 OTD on Black Friday with the swag kit at 1.99%. I thought that was good deal. Haven’t seen swag kit yet though.  Supposed to ship to dealer?

They told us over the phone they had it in stock and you picked up the bike you would get it. We found out when we got there the dealer orders the swag kit after the bike is sold. It came in 1 week later. Had to make an extra 2 hour round trip to get it but was worth it I believe. The canvas and awning are pretty heavy built.
