Sadly no changes to the 2025 models !
(Images from global Suzuki)
Still come with a PC pipe?
I don't know, Suzuki US is going to communicate later. But I think they're gonna make again an RM army edition.
😂😂
My five year old bike is still a current model!
The Shop
Not even BNG???
I thought this was the year for E-start..
They are even not selling Suzuki offroad bikes in Finland. If you want to buy one in Europe you have to go Germany or France to look for one.
There’s nothing on the Suzuki Global website that says 2025 yet…
Heard they are going all electric 2028
RM Army soldiers on...
Shocker
It's a shame that we've always had new RMZ threads every year, but no new RMZ every year....
If you scroll down on the bike page it will show 2024, 2023 and 2022 models. Choose 2024 then scroll down on that page and you will see it say 2025 RMZ450
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
it’s good enough to be raced at the top level, as proven by Kenny.
and it’s good enough to be raced at your level, cos you’re a squid.
nuff said.
I reckon it's a typo?
Welp, it sure does.
I'm shocked.
It has rear suspension and wheel rims now!
Pit Row
These threads always bring out the haters.
What is wrong with great/proven 250/450 models that are WAY more than enough motorcycle for the vast majority of people out there. Not to mention, they are affordable.
Kenny winning or running up front on one. Even good ol Shane McElrath getting killer starts with one.
Those $10k electric start, whizbang gadget other manufacturers don't make you Chase Sexton, Eli Tomac....etc, etc, etc.
Self-delusion....making marketing's job easier every year.
Obviously there is nothing wrong with the bikes. I think part of the hate comes from the fact then even when the bikes were ‘new’ models they were well behind the others in the class in terms of features and stock set up 🤷🏼♂️. They still look bitchin imo, it’s a shame Suzuki has given up on developing them for more then half a decade.
I have only one problem with it: the price.
They need to be substantially cheaper than the constantly updated competition.
All they need to do on these bikes is give the motors a face lift, good graphics, better suspension settings om the 250 and add the 250 kyb suspension to the 450 and these bikes are solid. Frames great, motors are more then enough, turns great, stable enough. Make these changes and at theor price plus a pc exhaust. Might switch from yzf's back to RMZ's
Seems based on what people here are saying, nobody is paying anywhere near MSRP.... usually deep discounts on top of the already lower than other brands MSRP.
True…but, while Hondas has their 450 “S” models for virtually 250ish prices, Suzuki still lists their bikes for more…which is nuts!
I left the RM-Z train in 21 when I sold my 19 RM-Z450 for a 21.5 Rockstar 450. Then I went out and finished in the exact same position at the end of the series', as the year before..
That said, E-start is nice.
Look, I bought a new KX250 in 2005 (2 stroke), then another one in 2006. (Another KX250 2 stroke).
Then Kawasaki quit manufacturing them in '07 for the US market. I waited to see if they might bring it back. Thinking they might reconsider, since the YZ250 2 stroke was still selling well. Maybe selling even better than years past since the other Japanese 3 had quit making them.
And I waited more. I waited 16 years!!!! I kept my 2 strokes running great and replacing anything that wore out.
Finally, in 2022 I broke down and bought a New bike once again. A '22 KX250 4 stroke.
So Suzuki guys, just hold out and be patient. Kawasaki lost my business of buying bikes for 16 years. Their choice. But there is light at the end of the tunnel. I'm happy with '22
Just from what I see on cycletrader, you can get a kx250 for the same price as a rmz250, and a kx450 for even less. That’s not a great incentive to get a yellow bike
My first thoughts when I saw the pics too!
Such a bummer Suzuki hasn’t done anything in so long. With that said think of the money they have saved on R&D. I bet between R&D and bike sales it’s close to a wash. Close enough that it makes them question putting resources into it.
An affordable, reliable, bullet proof 450 dirtbike that doesn’t hold me (or any of you) back. Keep it coming, this bike will be so far ahead of what any of us need until the end of our lives
