AC had stomach issues that weekend in Charlotte. They make fun of Phil saying you got beat by a man trying not to shit his pants. So to say we shouldn’t use AC has a mark in Glen Helen is a bit of a stretch. But who cares 2016 was a lost season for AC.

Tomac at Glen Helen was insane though, his best race of 2016 he was taking around 5 seconds a lap out of Gajser while catching him on a completely normal track. I can’t think of another time when someone has done that to a healthy Gajser. And I’m am a Gajser fan. 4 > 2

Americans are suddenly realising that Tomac is an all-timer but against Herlings... Herlings: 1-1-1-2-1-2-1-2  Tomac: 5-6-12-1-3-28-4-5 All on American soil because "Captain America" became Captain Flaky...

Herlings: 1-1-1-2-1-2-1-2
Tomac: 5-6-12-1-3-28-4-5

All on American soil because "Captain America" became Captain Flaky and decided he was too tired to come to Europe because of the schedule. Maybe his ego was dented flying through the air chasing Cairoli on a trail ride in Germany, or getting beaten by the likes of Paulin and Strijbos in Latvia. All good for both races at Red Bud though, funny that. Grinning

A lot of Brits will latch on to any non American they can . They certainly don't have their own horse in the race .

Winter injury leading into the season, couldn't test to decide which bike to ride, multiple small injuries through the year, couldn't train as he wanted, raised several times publicly he got tired, started using the season to develop towards 2017, making a decision about whether to ride the 350 or 450 the Monday before the GP, testing parts, and so on. AC was far from his best at the 2016 race at Glen Helen, the same as the whole of that season.

To be honest, following dropping down to the 250 at the 2014 MXdN and crashing, I don't think we ever saw Cairoli return to his peak. He still had fire, was still blazingly fast and consistent at times but seems fragile, always picking up little injury, spent less time grinding in Lommel and more time in Italy around Malagrotta, distractions with rally (which DV mentioned), etc.

Alas, Tomac still smashed him and the rest of the GP guys there, that is undeniable!

You’re not wrong there. Mewes is finished as a full GP rider now. I still say after he went 1-1 at the 1st EMX250 round in 2016 the team pushed him up to MX2, it finished his career. His results were super inconsistent after that.

Herlings had his tickets booked for Pala. But wasn’t allowed in the end by Ktm. He has to focus on MXGP, which is an understanding. He now races a small 1 vs. 1 race in Holland, what might even be more of a risk than racing in the US.!

Anyway, the videos this guy makes are really cool and interesting. The video is indeed in Jeffrey’s favor, but lets be honest, coming over to Ironman and going 1-1 after crashing in the 2nd Moto, is damn impressive and something to make a video about. I bet if an American does the same in Europe this guy would make a video of it aswell.

I'm pretty sure Lars the guy you quoted is friends with Herlings.

I also tought KTM wasn’t going to be happy with it, and if it’s smart I don’t know either. In his situation. But knowing him, all he wants to do is race! Any place any where

Only die hard fans of Webb will not forget Charlotte!Who won the GP after Charlotte? How about Martin and Forkner?Herlings moped the floor with the best AMA riders,Tomac included, but one race won by Webb is the standard!?Oh wait, there was Anderson…..Lol,i am still waiting to see one top american to race in europe and win a GP,but keep on dreaming.

If top GP riders got paid like top AMA riders, maybe we’d see it more often 🤷🏼‍♂️

I'm still waiting for Jeffy the domestic violence abuser to line up for a Supercross night show.... which he probably wouldn't qualify for.

Jeffy would never line up for a Supercross night show, he would be in the hospital before the daytime program was over.

Supermotocross? Maybe would be something
