Not much info given about why but Lee Collins who has ran the pnw local arena cross series and practices for years.

Just had Snohomish county revoke indoor motorsports at the fairgrounds in Monroe. That sucks had been a local thing since 1987.

I usually had fun when I did do the ax races and practice days when I went. Glad I went at least once this past November. This was the last of this near Seattle. First Puyallup fair back in 03. Clark back in like 15 now Monroe. No more local arena cross is what this means.

Old pic of me racing there back in 01 on my 02 yz125.

Such a bummer.  Hopefully they work something out by next Winter.

They also clipped doing stuff at the TRAC Center in Pasco. Sucks.

Ringo, that one makes me so sad. Pasco was THE AX race of the year for so long. I can remember signing autographs for little kids there. Only place I've ever raced in front of a crowd like that! Such a cool experience.

Looks like Monroe got a one year extension.  Great work by the moto community talking about the importance of the events.

In my opinion the only business model that works is to have an arena on an existing moto track that makes $0 in the winter here in the NW.  Ryan Huffman mentioned they were thinking about doing this at Washougal pre-COVID.  Hopefully a track does this...
