I’m starting to believe that if everyone you wanted was back on the track they wouldn’t catch Lawrence. I’m not sure what is going on, whether it’s just dna or some stealth techniques O’Mara has been masterminding but the guy just flows above whatever chaos the track has for him. It is similar to McGrath’s ability to out smooth everyone in his 1993 rookie season. Whatever it is, I’m not even sure Tomac could answer it.

Yep, I think Jett is that good.  But I do believe Tomac could beat him heads up on a good day.

Masterpool is the only reason i would watch the 450’s.

If that's the only reason, you should quit this sport and watch figure skating.

Doubt if Ty M., looks as good as the lady skaters with their short dress outfits.

Very solid ride from DF14.  Given the down time from Chase from concussion and mono, that's a really good first ride back.  These guys need to keep pushing hard.  If they can up their game just a little more and get a better start (in front of Jett anyway), we could start getting interesting 450 races again.

Agreed.  To me, Ferrandis's bike looked like shit and he's still not too far off the pace.  If he gets his bike settled down we just might get to watch a three way battle up front with Jett and Chase.

It's getting better, but they still have some work to do. He was bouncing all over the place.

Despite that, he's still managing to close the gap at each race.

One thing is for sure, and it's that he's not going to give up.

Andddd cue the jealous Jett haters to come up with their next excuses why Jett is still dominating.

Damn Ferrandis bike looks like shit. He’s doing good in spite of his bike. Who would have thought that the 21-22 Yamahas were the moto bike of a generation. And even Eli pre knee injury looked better on the 22 indoors then the 23.

Thank you - I don't see many people mention that. Eli, once he got settled on the YZ, was the fastest guy almost every week in 2022 until he tweaked his knee in ATL. That wasn't the case in '23. Sure, he was on his way to a title before a freak injury, but he was outpaced by Sexton for most of the season and there were quite a few races where he got straight up beat by other guys as well.

Just finished watching the races. Vialle has been looking much better since after Thunder Valley. High point first moto crashes didn't help but he had good speed. Yesterday he crashed 3 times in moto 1... If he can get the first motos under control he'll be on the box and maybe on the top step soon.
The upcoming races should all be good tracks for him.
He scored about 17 points on average per race. So had he done that at Thunder Valley as well instead of DNF-DNF he'd be 3rd in points now. I think that's still achievable for him if Hampshire doesn't step it up

No one can beat Jett if he keeps getting these starts.  It's absolutely unreal how good he is off the gate and through the first turn.  I think Sexton and Tomac (and maybe Ferrandis if he gets back to form) can match him on speed but they aren't going to catch him having to work through a few guys.

Like Tomac never had to go thru guys to win before!!

I still believe Chase can and will beat Jett this year. Did people expect him to beat Jett yesterday coming off the bench?  He'll take motos at Washougal and Unadilla. But when the season started I thought Chase could win the title. Now I just think he can take wins from Jett. I'm not gonna gush over Jett again. It's all been said. I do want to ask were his starts this good on a 250? Refresh my memory. How do you expect to beat a guy this good when he's holeshotting every time?

Jett, not only is the fastest, but he has been in first by the 2nd turn in 8/10 motos and I'm pretty sure he has never been outside of the top 5 at any point in any race.

Kenny is pretty much the only person to lead him yet.  If these guys can't figure out how to start in front of him their chance of winning is pretty low.  RC and JS never started this good in their dominant years.  It seems about impossible given all the variables, how good his starts are.
